About the Training:
This technical session bridges the gap between minigrid design and regulation, highlighting how fit-for-purpose standards can lower costs, improve reliability, and prepare systems for future grid integration—without unnecessary complexity.
Leveraging the AMP Minigrid Technical Standards Toolkit and AFUR’s Mini-Grid Regulation Tool, the training offers practical guidance and decision-making tools to support regulators, developers, and practitioners in accelerating approvals and boosting investor confidence.
Funding and Partners:
This initiative is supported by the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the Governments of Luxembourg and Denmark, and implemented alongside RMI and the African Development Bank (AfDB).
