About the Webinar
Reliable operational data is essential for understanding minigrid performance, identifying challenges, and making informed decisions that support the development of Africa’s minigrid sector.
The Africa Minigrids Program (AMP) invites you to the virtual launch of the AMP Digital Platform, an open-source digital tool designed to make operational minigrid data more accessible and support data-driven decision-making across the sector.
Built on the open-source Prospect platform in collaboration with the Access to Energy Institute (A2EI), the AMP Digital Platform brings together operational data from minigrid sites and supports monitoring at national and regional levels.
Through a live platform demonstration and discussion, participants will explore the platform’s capabilities, how it supports operational monitoring and performance insights, and its potential to inform planning, oversight, and minigrid market development.

- Live platform demonstration: Explore the platform’s dashboards, data visualizations, and monitoring capabilities.
- Data-driven decision-making: Discover how operational data can help stakeholders monitor minigrid performance and identify challenges.
